They recommend a course of treatment to help relieve pain and improve function without surgery or pharmaceuticals such as manipulation, soft tissue therapy, exercise, modalities (ultrasound, laser, etc.), rehabilitation, and patient education. Chiropractors are also trained to provide nutritional counselling, as well as recommend injury prevention strategies. Specific training in spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) allows chiropractors to provide adjustments using highly-skilled and precise movements to the vertebrae of the spine, correcting joint motion to restore proper movement and improve function.

Light can stimulate or inhibit cellular function according to it's intensity and the time applied. Lasers and LED's produce intense beams of light at specific wavelengths. When the right wavelength at the right intensity is used at the correct anatomical location for the right amount of time you can stimulate repair, resolve inflammation and reduce pain.
In addition, high intensity single point lasers can release trigger points and treat acupuncture points instead of needles. Laser can:

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a comprehensive health care system that has been used to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness for thousands of years. TCM Acupuncture is the placement of fine, sterile needles at specific points on the body to promote natural healing by enhancing your ability to recuperate, build immunity, and to benefit and balance your physical and emotional health. TCM Acupuncture is a safe, effective, and side effect free way to treat a wide variety of medical problems and improve overall function and well-being.
The TCM approach allows an Acupuncturist to address multiple concerns at the same time; for example, insomnia and digestive problems, back pain and migraines, anxiety and menstrual cramps. Because your body – and your experience of living in it –is ever-changing and dynamic, the treatments will change and adapt right along with you.
We know what it’s like to feel frustrated by what may seem like a totally random assortment of symptoms. The beauty of Chinese Medicine is that we look at you as a whole person - body, mind, and spirit - to find the connections and create balance.
